I have been coaching Dental applicants for over 9 years now – I would estimate around 3000 applicants! 

I have worked in a mixed NHS and private practice since qualifying, so I have up-to-date knowledge of all the realities of Dentistry.

The most important thing for me is getting know and understand every applicant. If you choose to work with me, I will spend time understanding your unique position whilst applying, so I can help strengthen every aspect of your application. My expertise lies in UCAT (I scored 800 myself) and Interview preparation (both MMI and Panel Interviews).

Dr Reena

I started my journey in dentistry from a very young age: during my A-levels, I used to work in an NHS dental practice as a dental nurse. This experience was invaluable to my Dental School application, and the skills I learnt during my nursing years really helped me at Dental School. I qualified from Bart’s and The London 2007 with an honours degree and as a prize-winning student. 

I have worked in general practice for over a decade. During this time I have been an Educational Supervisor in the Oxford Deanery, mentoring newly qualified dentists.

As an educational supervisor I noticed that many students were ill-suited practicing dentistry. Many students did not know the realities of being a dentist. We decided to set up Become A Dentist to give all students the best chance of getting into dentistry. More importantly, we want to give students a real insight on what it takes to become a dentist. This is where are Dentistry help really focuses. Being a dentist is a real privilege and I  want to help more students to Become a Dentist.

Dr Elham

I studied and graduated at Leeds Dental Institute (University of Leeds) with a Dental Surgery MChD/BChD, Oral Sciences BSc (Master and Bachelors Degrees).

Since then, I have worked in various dental practices across London, as well as a prestigious Facial Aesthetics Clinic on Bond Street, Central London. One of the fantastic things about Dentistry is that you can choose to focus on any aspect that you love – for me, it’s Facial Aesthetics! When I work with Dental Applicants, one of our main focuses is why you want to study dentistry – it’s important to be able to handle any question at Interview and this is one of the most common. We also cover every type of Dental and Non-Dental Interview question.

Dr Paul

Dr Paul graduated from Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry with top grades. Following graduation, he was awarded the Graham Smart Memorial Prize for the HEE Thames Valley Dental Foundation Training Schemes, and also the Winner of the Endodontic Prize for the Oxfordshire Foundation Training Scheme. His passion for dentistry is second-to-none and his enthusiasm shines through with all his patients and staff team. 

One of Dr Paul’s exceptional skills is his understanding of dental materials, dental technology and how the two can combined to give the patient the ultimate dental experience. This ranges from the highest quality endodontics (root canal treatment) to 3D digital printing of crowns to using the highest quality cements and materials to give patients the longest-lasting results. Dr Paul’s communication, empathy and compassion are also crucial aspects to being such a popular dentist, and he ensure he passes this knowledge on as an Admissions Specialist.

Dr Paul is a keen teacher of dentistry as well, devoting countless hours to helping those students who wish to Become A Dentist. He is a passionate dentist, but very generous with his time – he is always happy to share his knowledge and experiences, especially with work experience students!
